Looks like I've been having themes this week. First cards from the US, then cards from Russia, and now all cat cards!
From Emma in Poland. She drew a cute dog picture to go along with the card.
My first Jetoy card from Lori in California
Another card from Amy in Washington. Very sweet!

Postcards: 3/24
My postcard wall to date:
It's gotten a bit too large to handle. I can't reach any higher than the top row and if I put any cards any lower, my cat will rip them down. So I've decided to only have my favorites on my postcard wall and to put the rest in a photo album that shows both the front and back of each card.
Two cards received yesterday:
From Lori in California, as part of the Boring tag. I actually found this card pretty funny!
An official card from Miranda in the Netherlands. Another adorable kitty!

Postcards: 3/16 - 3/19
I have updated my Shutterfly page. I have new postcards available for swap.
I've gotten six postcards since Friday.
*My first fairy postcard! Courtesy of Jette from the Netherlands, as part of the Fairy tag.
*Abbey from Alaska agreed to a private swap with me. She sent me this very neat glacier card. As of March 12, it was zero degrees Fahrenheit there, while it was 80 here!

*This vintage postcard is of San Francisco Bay and Alcatraz, sent by Sarah from Boston when she was on vacation.
*The cute manatee card comes from a direct swap. I just want to hug it!

*Adi from Croatia sent this cool card of buildings directly on the water. Adi's friend is lucky enough to live in one of the buildings!
*Anita from the Netherlands sent the pretty multi-view of her town of Hengelo.

Postcards: 2/21
I received EIGHT postcards today, as well as two letters from pen pals!
Starting off with the cards I received from within the country...
This one was sent to me from Tennessee as part of a Round Robin. The words on the front mean "So, this is where junk cars go to die".
This card from Margaret is the first I've received through this blog! She sent this before I had gotten the other North Carolina cards. She saw I didn't have any from NC, so decided to help me out. Thank you Margaret!
Lori from California sent this one as part of the Ship tag.
From Samantha in New York, through the Request an Animal tag. I asked for anything cute and fuzzy, and this is what she sent me. Definitely cute and fuzzy!
Danielle from Nebraska agreed to do a private swap with me. I sent her a card of St. Louis and she sent this one of downtown Omaha.
Now on to the three world cards...
I received this cute Pinocchio card from Russia.
Another cat card from Sherry in Taiwan! I love kitty cards!
I sent a birthday card to the friend of a Postcrosser from Turkey. I received this pretty card in return.

Postcards: 2/3 & 2/4
I received this pretty card from California yesterday. That's San Francisco in the background.
Today I received three cards.
Official Postcrossing card from Roxanna in the Netherlands. I love the fuzzy kitty!
Another official card from Japan. It's raining cats and dogs!
This one is from a "Dance" tag I took part it. It comes from Russia. Such adorable kids!

Postcards: 1/23 - 1/28
I had a very rough week this week, so I haven't been updating. I lost my puppy on Tuesday. I take solace in the fact that she was 17 and was very much loved the entirety of her life. Kisses for my baby girl.
Suzi: 1994-2012

In the meantime, I received 21 postcards last week.

Washington/Finland/Germany:

Postcards: 1/20 & 1/21
I've been participating in a lot of tags on Postcrossing lately, which has meant I've been getting lots of mail! PC's tagging has proved to be very addicting! There are several topics, such as the Disney tag, Close Your Eyes tag, USA to Europe tag, etc. Basically you "tag" the person before you and you send them a postcard based on whatever the topic is. Then someone else will "tag" you and send you a card. Most of the cards I've received in the past few days have been from tags.
January 20:
I received this one from Dawn, who I met over at TheKnot.com when I was planning my wedding. Thank you Dawn!
Lori from California sent this adorable photo of her dog.
Natasha from Belgium tagged me in the Disney Request tag. One of my requests was Aladdin!
Maija from Finland tagged me in the Churches tag. She got this postcard when she vacationed in Scotland last year.
This is one comes from Ohio and is from the Marilyn Monroe tag. I'm thinking it's from her early years. I think she looks much better natural!
January 21:
Marlous from Holland sent this as an official Postcrossing card.
Sunny from Illinois traveled through Iowa on her way to Nebraska and picked up this postcard. I think Illinois can compete with Iowa when it comes to being "The Tall Corn State"!
Jeanne from Australia sent this neat photo her photographer friend took. Pretty talented!
I participated in an Eyes Closed tag, which is pretty self-explanatory. Tag someone, close your eyes, pull a postcard out of your pile, and send it to the person you tagged. Katie from Reno sent me this strange card. Judging from the caption on the back, it's from a cartoon. That's the interesting thing about this type of tag... you never know what you're going to get!
This hockey-themed card comes from Tam in British Columbia, Canada. It was part of the Boring Card tag. I happen to like the card, since I'm such a big hockey fan! She was even kind enough to include a Vancouver Canucks sticker on the back. My husband wasn't very pleased with that, since this is a strictly St. Louis Blues household! :)
